Welcome to the walk
 

My name is Gianni. I live in Italy. I was born and raised in Siena, in the heart of Tuscany, nearby Chianti area and Florence.
After ten years in the geology lab at the University of Siena, researching Antarctica minerals, mining parks and medieval aqueducts, I thought it was time for a change. So, seven years ago, I blended my passion as a walker and my sociable nature with my knowledge of local environment, towns and traditions and started leading guided walking tours for American and British travel companies.

“Multi-talented”, “Renaissance-man”, “a man for all seasons”: these are a few of the ways guests have described me over the years. "Happy-guide" is the nickname I chose for myself. Happy to be a guide in an area where the people and the cuisine and the wine and the countryside offer so many richly rewarding experiences.

I hope you enjoy this website. I present my favorite walks and my approach to your enjoyment so you can choose the itinerary and pace according to your preferences and interests.
It will be your personal vacation. The number of people will not exceed six. There will be more opportunities to discuss local culture, nature and habits.
